In this training we will discuss protocol for “contact release” in electrical emergency response conditions, meaning when a person gets caught in a live electrical circuit. According to NFPA 70E guidelines, training in this area is required annually for employees exposed to electrical shock hazard. This class may meet this requirement for you. We will also discuss the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to wear and some of the rules to follow to guard against injuries due to arc flash hazards.
