Interested in Becoming a Member?

BAYWORK has 3 types of membership: Signatory– for water and wastewater utilities, Associate– for educational institutions, non-profits, industry associations, and other allied organizations and Affiliate- for Individuals.  To become a member choose the membership that best represents your organization or if you are an individual choose our Affiliates membership.

Signatory Membership

Water and wastewater utilities in the Bay Area and beyond.

Member employees are invited to attend BAYWORK events at no additional cost.  Utilities pay annual dues based on their number of employees.  BAYWORK belongs to its member utilities, who elect the organization’s officers and directors.  We would be happy to come to your facility to learn about your particular workforce issues and discuss membership benefits.

Associate Membership

Government Agencies, Colleges, Associations and Non-Profit Organizations, etc.

Associate members may participate in BAYWORK committees and are encouraged to partner with us on projects or provide in-kind support.  Membership is not open to organizations that sell goods or services to the water and wastewater industry. Associate members do not pay dues and do not vote for BAYWORK leadership.

Affiliate Membership

Individuals who are not currently working at a utility.

These may be students in programs leading to careers in water, retirees from utilities, people seeking a job in the industry, as well as people who work in support of the water sector.  Affiliate members are encouraged to participate on BAYWORK committees or projects, and may attend BAYWORK events at no cost.
